Leipzig discussion group "Artificial Intelligence": forward-looking exchange for the insurance industry
The event, organized by VERS Leipzig GmbH and hosted on the premises of Zurich Group Germany, offered an exclusive platform to discuss the current challenges and opportunities of AI technology in the insurance world and to develop practical solutions.
Our colleague Chris Ehrling was part of the high-caliber exchange both as a participant and as a speaker. In his presentation entitled "Brave new world of images? Why insurance companies now need to think forensically", he shed light on the many possible applications of AI in the claims process. A particular focus was placed on AI-supported technologies such as natural language processing models. At the same time, the associated regulatory and technical issues were also discussed. The subsequent dialog with the participants demonstrated the industry's great innovative strength and commitment to using new technologies effectively.
The event was chaired by Prof. Dr. Fred Wagner from the Institute of Insurance Studies at Leipzig University. Under his moderation, current developments in the field of data analytics and artificial intelligence were discussed. It became clear how modern technologies can help to make processes in the insurance industry future-proof and efficient.
The "Artificial Intelligence" discussion group in Leipzig once again demonstrated that AI is playing a key role in the transformation of the insurance industry. The interdisciplinary dialog between science and practice is essential in order to meet current and future requirements. We are proud to have contributed to this important exchange through our active participation and expertise.
We will incorporate the knowledge gained from the event into our work in order to continue developing innovative solutions for the insurance industry. Formats like this underline how valuable it is to work together to shape the digital future.
