This year's Legend of Cross event took place in Mühlberg on October 29, 2023. Our team, consisting of four colleagues, was ready to take on the challenges of this demanding run.

After a thorough warm-up, the participants started the Legend of Cross 2023 on time at 12:30 p.m. The first challenge was a climb, followed by a fire pit and a ridge path towards Holzhausen. Once they arrived at Wachsenburg Castle, they faced further obstacles.

The biggest challenge on the 10-kilometer route awaited them after the halfway point: a steep climb. Motivated by encouraging signs, the sound of drums and the prospect of a refreshing beer as a reward for the meters of altitude covered, they also mastered this test.

Shortly before the finish, they had to fight their way through muddy ditches. After 10 kilometers full of effort and in the spirit of cooperation, they reached the finish line exhausted but happy and received their medals.

The Legend of Cross 2023 was an unforgettable event that tested both the team spirit and endurance of the participants. It was a day full of fun, challenge and joy that they will remember for a long time to come.
