FIDA at Green.AI Thuringia 2026: AI as a driver for efficiency and sustainability
How can companies use artificial intelligence to work more sustainably and at the same time more economically? This question was the focus of the Green.AI Thuringia event, which recently took place in Erfurt.
Lisa Heß, Björn Marz and Chris Ehrling were there on behalf of FIDA to discuss current developments and specific use cases with representatives from SMEs, regional networks and other stakeholders.
The event focused on the connection between artificial intelligence and sustainability. It became clear that SMEs in particular are very interested in practical solutions that have a direct impact on energy and resource consumption while also creating economic benefits.
At our stand, we presented various local AI applications and used specific use cases from the energy sector to show how data-based solutions can help to make processes more efficient and use resources in a more targeted manner. The numerous discussions and positive feedback confirmed that the demand for implementable AI solutions remains high.
The direct exchange with companies and partners from the region was particularly valuable for us. Such events offer the opportunity to better understand current challenges, get to know new perspectives and discuss innovative solutions together.
We would like to thank ThEx Wirtschaft 4.0, the Thuringian Energy and GreenTech Agency (ThEGA) and the Competence Centre for Energy Efficiency through Digitalization (KEDi) for the successful organization of the event and all of our discussion partners for the open and constructive exchange.
We are already looking forward to the next edition of Green.AI Thuringia.
