At the recent AI Insurance Conference at the Marriott Hotel in Cologne, our colleagues Thilo Vogt, Björn Marz, Torsten Nietz and Chris Ehrling had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the future of the insurance industry, in particular the use of artificial intelligence.

The experts shared insights into current projects and challenges in the industry. A key topic was the use of AI in claims settlement, customer service and risk management. Particular emphasis was placed on the potential of generative AI, which brings with it scaling opportunities and efficiency gains.

Chris, our Lead Data Scientist, presented our image forensics tool. This solution could transform the industry by going beyond traditional image analysis and providing a reliable method of detecting image-based fraud. Our AI-powered image forensics identifies manipulated and AI-generated images as well as duplicates using specialised models. A user-friendly dashboard enables users to quickly and accurately identify potential manipulations.

The conference provided us with the ideal platform to share our expertise in the field of fraud detection and to gather new impulses for the further development of AI-based solutions in the insurance industry. We look forward to further advancing our innovations together with our customers and actively shaping digitalisation in the industry.
