FIDA on the AI Navigator 2025

Last week, Chris Ehrling and Tobias Venn were guests at one of the leading German-language platforms for artificial intelligence. The program was dominated by topics such as agents, MCP and RAG.

However, with their specialist presentation on the recognition of AI-generated images, the two brought an exciting change of pace.

The focus was on questions such as:

  • How can deepfakes, manipulated documents or synthetic images be reliably detected using modern image forensics?

  • What significance do security and trust have when generative AI is used in companies?

We were particularly pleased that, despite the less than ideal time slot right before the lunch break, the room was extremely well filled - and the participants' interest was clearly palpable.

The interactive part of the presentation was a particular highlight. Participants were able to try out for themselves whether they could distinguish real images from AI-generated ones. The reactions made it clear how challenging and fascinating this topic is.
