FIDA at the LEARNTEC 2026 in Karlsruhe

LEARNTEC - one of the most important events for digital education, e-learning and future-oriented learning concepts - took place once again in Karlsruhe from May 5 to 7, 2026. The trade fair brought together experts from schools, universities and industry and offered numerous insights into current developments and new technologies.

The focus was on topics such as modern e-learning solutions, artificial intelligence and new approaches to linking learning and working even more closely in the future. The combination of trade fair and congress impressively demonstrated how diverse and dynamic the education sector is evolving.

A special item on the program was the presentation by our colleague Dr. Simon Kroll on 7 May on the topic of
"On ethical blind spots in dealing with LLMs".

The focus was not only on the possibilities of large language models, but also on the challenges and risks involved in the practical use of AI systems. Among other things, questions relating to responsibility, evaluation and the conscious use of such technologies in everyday working life were discussed.

For FIDA, LEARNTEC remains an important place to not only learn about technological developments, but also to discuss them critically and take away new ideas for their own work.
