FIDA at the 5th Thuringian E-Government Congress: Focus on digital sovereignty
Around 700 participants came together to discuss the digital future of public administration. This year's congress focused on one central topic: digital sovereignty - from open standards to independent IT infrastructures.
FIDA as part of the progress
Our colleague Lisa Heß and our colleague Björn Marz actively represented FIDA at the congress and took part in the event together with other members of the ITnet Thüringen e.V. board. A special highlight was the visit of Digital Minister Steffen Schütz and State Secretary Milen Starke to the ITnet stand. There, the new #KInet42 platform was presented for the first time, which aims to make the diverse expertise and know-how in the field of artificial intelligence from Thuringia visible. We are proud to be part of this forward-looking project, which not only highlights Thuringia's innovative strength, but also promotes the use of AI technologies in practice.
Digital transformation in administration - opportunities and challenges
The congress made it clear that public administration in Thuringia is taking important steps towards digitalization. At the same time, however, it also became clear that this process is associated with challenges - be it through structural hurdles, building trust in digital technologies or creating the necessary skills. This is precisely where we at FIDA see our potential: with practical AI solutions, we want to support public administration in integrating digital technologies sustainably and securely. Our aim is to dispel fears, create trust and demonstrate concrete approaches to how AI can make day-to-day administration more efficient.
A strong signal for Thuringia
The 5th Thuringian E-Government Congress impressively demonstrated that cooperation between politics, business and administration is essential in order to successfully shape the digital transformation. Projects such as #KInet42 underline how important it is to pool regional expertise and make innovations visible.
