A triumph of teamwork and sustainable mobility - #teamfida sets an example for climate protection at the City Cycling 2024. With pure pedal power and tireless commitment, the team from the district of Gotha shows that joint efforts and ecological responsibility lead to success.

City cycling is a Germany-wide event that brings together teams from different sectors to pedal for a good cause. From June 1 to 21, 2024, colleagues from companies, clubs, schools and many other motivated cyclists competed against each other. Our #teamfida competed with full energy and delivered an impressive performance: with a total of 4,417 kilometers cycled, we came seventh in the district of Gotha and even secured an excellent third place in the company ranking.

It was a challenge that each and every one of us took up with enthusiasm. Every kilometer counted, and 16 of our energetic employees managed to cover a distance together that not only demonstrated our fitness, but also our contribution to a greener future. By cycling together, we were able to save a significant amount of 233kg of CO2 - a clear statement for climate protection and a sustainable lifestyle.

This competition was more than just collecting kilometers; it was a demonstration of team spirit, commitment and the willingness to pedal together for the environment as a common good. We are proud of our achievement and grateful to everyone who contributed. This success is proof that when we work together, we can achieve great things.

We are already looking forward to next year when we can compete again. Until then, we will continue to collect kilometers on the saddle even without a competition!
