We will familiarize you with the basics of relational databases and show you how to efficiently store, organize and manipulate data with SQL. Learn how to query databases, filter and aggregate data and how to create connections to databases. After this course, you will be well equipped to use relational databases skillfully in your projects.

  • Basics of relational databases: We start with the basics - what relational databases are and how they work.

  • Data queries: You will learn basic SQL statements to filter and sort databases.

  • Grouping & Aggregating: You'll perform calculations on groups of data sets.

  • Joins & subqueries: You will learn how to merge data from different tables.

  • View: You make your queries clearer.

  • Insert data: You will learn how to use SQL to insert new data and tables into a relational database.

  • Designing a relational database: At the end of the course you will learn how to plan and implement a relational database.
