FIDA at the Italy Insurance Forum 2026
Manipulated claims images, edited documents and deepfakes are increasingly presenting insurance companies with new challenges. Insurance fraud is becoming more digital - and at the same time more international.
It was precisely these topics that were the focus of last week's Italy Insurance Forum 2026, which our Managing Director Torsten Nietz attended at the invitation of Maurizio Vitale and Federico Vitale from WIT.
Current developments in underwriting, claims management, processes and innovations in the insurance industry were discussed at the forum. It became particularly clear that insurers are facing similar issues across countries - especially in dealing with digital manipulation and AI-supported fraud.
The event was particularly relevant for FIDA, as many of the topics discussed concern precisely the areas that we deal with intensively. With our fraudify product, we offer a solution for detecting manipulated claims images and support insurance companies in recognizing anomalies at an early stage and making claims handling processes more efficient.
The exchange on site has once again shown how important innovative technologies and international cooperation have become in the fight against digital insurance fraud.
