Energie trifft IT: Austausch beim InnoMEET in Thüringen
Data management and artificial intelligence were the focus of the InnoMEET event “Energy Meets IT – Intelligent Systems for a Sustainable Future.”
The event brought together stakeholders from the IT, energy technology, and energy sectors, as well as from research and academia. Discussions and practical examples focused on topics such as smart grids, data-driven forecasts, and automated energy management systems.
Representing FIDA were Chris Ehrling, Björn Marz, and Marcus Arlt. Björn moderated the session featuring a thematic introduction by ITnet Thüringen e.V. and the Thuringian Renewable Energy Network (ThEEN) e.V. Chris moderated the panel discussion “AI in Energy Management—How AI Enables Planning, Control, and Flexibility.”
In this way, InnoMEET not only offered insights into current developments but also provided ample opportunity for exchange between different industries and fields of expertise. Especially where energy, data, and IT converge, exciting questions arise and new opportunities for further development emerge.
